Itinerary

Day 1Kathmandu (1,300m) – Lhasa (3,650m)- Tsedang

Departure Transport to Tribhuban Airport and Trans – Himalayan flight to Tibet (Gongaar airport) (1hr.) Drive to Tsedang (1hr.) – Full rest for acclimatization – O/N at Hotel.

Day 2Sightseeing tour in Tsedang

Sightseeing tour of Yambulakhang Palace, Tandruk Monastery and Samye Monastery O/N at Hotel.

Day 3Lhasa – Gyantse (3950m) 250 Km

Drive to Gyantse via Yamadroke Lake and high passes: Kora LA (5,010m) & Kamba La (4,794m) – O/N at Hotel.Day 04:- Gyantse – Xigatse (3,900m): 90km

Day 4Gyantse – Xigatse (3,900m): 90km

AM: Sight-seeing in Gyantse including Pholkor & Kumbum Monastery and Gyantse Dzong. PM: scenic drive to Xigatse(1.5hrs) through the typical Tibetan Countryside – O/N at Hotel.

Day 5Xigatse – Lhasa (3650m) 250km

AM: Visit Panchen Lama’s Tashilhumpu Monastery. Then Drive to Lhasa O/N at Hotel.

Day 6-7Sightseeing In Lhasa

Two Full Days Sightseeing Tour In Lhasa

Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple & Barkhor Bazaar, Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery – O/N at Hotel.

Day 8Lhasa to Kathmandu

Departure to gonggar airport and fly back to Kathmandu
