Cho-Oyu Expedition

Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201 m) is the sixth highest mountain in the world and lies in the middle section of the giant Himalayas and located within very short distance of Mt. Everest and Lhotse. On the west of Cho Oyu is the Nangpa La, a 19,000 foot glacier pass which is the main trading route between the Khumbu Sherpas and Tibet. The climbing route will be as follows:

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu. March
Day 02/04: Stay in Kathmandu, official formalities. September
Day 05: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding
Day 06: Khumjung
Day 07: Khumjung, acclimatization day.
Day 08: Dole
Day 09: Machermo
Day 10: Gokyo
Day 11: Cho Oyu Base Camp
Day 12/41: Climbing Period
Day 42: Cleaning up Base Camp
Day 43: Gokyo
Day 44: Dole
Day 45: Khumjung
Day 46: Phakding
Day 47: Lukla
Day 48: Fly to Kathmandu
Day 49/50: Stay in Kathmandu
Day 49: Departure
